Pokemon Fridays: Squirtle (block 6)

Happy 6th Pokemon Friday!

This week, it's Squirtle..
With Christmas stuff going on, etc., I still haven't finished stitching Mew, but I didn't want to get too behind with the tutorials, so I am going ahead with Squirtle today to get back on track. I'm hoping to finish stitching Mew AND Squirtle this weekend.

Once all the pieces are cut, assemble the diagrams as always, stitching pieces indicated by small grey arrows first, then by numbered arrows, and using scant quarter inch seams. When finished with a section, label and set aside.

Once all of the sections are pieced, lay out your block and stitch together. Stitch sections indicated by the small grey arrows first, then assemble according to the numbered arrows.

You should have a 20 1/2" (20" finished-when sewn into quilt top) Squirtle! :D  I will link to the PDF instructions after I complete my block and add a photo this weekend. (fingers crossed!)
