My Blog List
Michele at the Quilting Gallery is having a Back to School--
It's so fitting b/c my son just started kindergarten on Wednesday.
I missed the last blog hop giveaway party, but this time I'm giving away a little pre-cut pack of fat quarters from my stash. Twelve of them..
..along with a $20 gift certificate to the Fat Quarter Shop.
I love the FQS!! :) I will ship internationally, and you can enter anytime before Tues. September 4th.
Just leave me a comment letting me know you follow. For a second chance, if you wish, you can tweet, facebook, or share on your blog and link back, leaving me a second comment letting me know. I will post the winner sometime on Tues. Sept. 4th. :) For other giveaways, click the button below. The list of participating blogs will be listed there sometime after midnight, EST on Sunday morning, Aug. 26th.
Good luck and have fun!!
P.S. Here is my little one and his 'Here I am at school!' pose..
..when did he get so big?
I miss these chubby legs, and big cheeks. Has it really been 5+ years?
..And here he is walking into the rest of his life. ;) *sniff, sniff*
I think I need a tissue. And some chocolate. I love watching him grow into a kind, tender-hearted little boy. But I'm sad that it's going by so fast!!
Good luck in the giveaways! Have a great weekend!

Hi Sweet Kelli - First of all your son is DARLING!!! And I remember when I went off to kindygarten, I needed a kleenex because I cried from the moment my Mom dropped me off to after I got into my first class!! LOL!!! I follow you because your blog is on my sidebar!! Those FQs look great!! Thanks for the giveaway!!!
I know how you feel, my eldest daughter is moving to England for a year to study and we are are prepared she won't be coming back after her study... Now England 'is only a ferry away' I know I know and we will visit regularly, talk via skype but still... ahhh moms.... :-)
I'm already a follower, but have been terrible at visiting blogs lately. So sorry!
Your fabrics are so pretty! Thank you!
I remember way back when my little girl started school. As soon as I drove off, I bawled my eyes out. Don't know how I made it to work! Your little guy is adorable!
Just started following your blog. Nice fabrics! I know the feeling of letting go of your kids to school. It seems it was yesterday it happened to me and I'm now letting go to an independent life after college. It's hard but there's a great feeling of "mission accomplished". And I also have 2 more friends who are great: my daughters.
Oh what a big boy! time flies doesn't it? I've been getting sniffly at the thought of my big girl going to school next year when she turns 5... I feel like I haven't spent nearly enough time with her while she's been at home! Waaahhhhhhh :( They sound similar - your little one and my big girl - kind and tender-hearted - makes my heart swell :) and of course I'm a follower too xx
I follow your blog. It is a big turning point when our kids start school. My two girls are now going into the last year of national school (age 4 to 12) and secondary school (12 to 18) and it only seems like yesterday that they were starting school.
I'm a follower!
I remember the day my oldest child started school - it was so hard to watch her climb up onto the bus and be whisked away to school. A few years later, when my youngest child started school, I could hardly wait for him to climb the bus steps - I dashed home, grabbed a coffee and "celebrated" with a good book!
Beautiful fat quarters!!! And gift certificates are the most fun ever-- who doesn't love shopping!?! :-) Thank you for the chance to win... I am a follower.
Your little boy looks like he's very excited to be starting school.. I remember those "first" days well--- even though my girls are all grown up now. They years surely do fly by-- enjoy every single moment with your little guy!! :-)
I'm a new follower using google reader. Your little boy is adorable and so is your dog! Children grow so fast. My daughter just had a baby and has noticed how fast her son grows. I tell her it won't be long till he's in school. Time goes by so fast!
I'm impressed that you publicly chart your weigh-loss goal. And I love the fabrics you're offering for the give-away. Beautiful!
My quilting blog is just getting started but I'm going to add your blog to my sidebar. It's beautiful and fun.
I remember those days taking my boys to kindergarten...just wait till college! I think I cried for over an hour, and plenty of tearing up in the week preceeding dropping my oldest at college last year. This year was better, but hold on tight, because it flies by!
BTW, I am now a follower!
